Event Details
Easter (Pasqua) is spectacular in Italy, everywhere comes alive with activity, all the residents of the Towns get involved in the events. Most Towns have a Passione di Cristo, which is the life of Christ, it is usually acted out throughout the Town. When I first experienced this with my Children in Sicily, I was totally blown away, it encompasses the true story of Easter, family life of celebrating together and of course wonderful food on Easter Sunday to celebrate. Lamb is usually eaten.
The Easter eggs in Italy are stunning and worth seeing and certainly delicious to eat!
